If you’re looking for a cocktails with a flair, NR is the place to go. It’s a restaurant too, with a solid selection of appetizers and ramen. But the stiff drinks here are the standout. NR cocktails are definitely different, in taste and presentation. Don’t expect your typical run-of-the-mill bar cocktails, so don’t go here if you’re just going to order a simple gin & tonic… save that for the sports bar, where it’s probably half the price too.
Many of the cocktails at NR have some sort of non-traditional ingredient you would never expect to see in your drink, such as burdock, saffron, or even blue cheese. It’s their own NR-spin on everything, from the combination of flavors to how they present it. Service is super friendly, and even though they may be super busy, you’ll never feel rushed by them once seated, unlike other super popular speakeasies with a chip on their shoulder. Do make sure to order the NR Truffle Egg Sandwich, you won’t regret it. In fact, you may order a second one, after you realize that sharing the first order left you only wanting more.
