Two Michelin Star
CHEF Junghyun Park | KOREAN FOOD
City: New York City. 104 E 30th St, New York, NY 10016
REVIEW + PHOTOS
Of all the tasting menus we’ve tried, Atomix might rank as one of the few places where we enjoyed EVERY single course. No weakest link. No average ho-hum dish. Every single creation on the tasting menu was an extraordinary Korean culinary delight, inspired by Korean traditions and technique, and perfectly executed by Chef Junghyun Park.
This may also be the only Michelin Star restaurant we have ever dined in that included a piece of “artwork” in the form of a postcard, that accompanies every course, providing information on the ingredients, origin, and inspiration for the dish. Atomix’s mission is to educate the world on Korean culture, and so far it seems they are doing a pretty good job. Coming in as #8 on The World’s 50 Best Restaurants 2023, Chef Junghyun Park was also named Best Chef: New York State by the James Beard Foundation.
